As your Hook magazine editors begin to close the book on the Summer 2022 issue, we remembered that it had been a while since we posted a “Pages from the Past.” With next year marking the 50th anniversary of the first publication of the magazine, we’ll be looking to the past a lot in 2023.
In the upcoming issue, you’ll read an article about some advice CAPT Paul Ramsey gave to his son as he was about to graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy. “From the Catwalk” that appeared in the Fall 1982 issue of The Hook featured a humorous story about how VADM Paul Ramsey and his wife could throw quite a party!
