Founded by: Dan Rainey in memory of Georgia Rainey, Jay Yakeley in memory of Cathy Yakeley, Gil Rud in memory of Barbara Rud, Phil Anselmo in memory of Arlene Anselmo, Keith Schmidt in Memory of Norma Jean Schmidt These wonderful ladies stayed home and minded the front while their husbands were on deployment and training work ups. They raised the children, held support groups and other feats of leadership, and did it superbly, allowing their husbands to perform duties knowing that their families were safe. These women mentored many wives and continue to be an example for those who support their aviators and their careers. Their legacy will be with us forever, and the founders of this scholarship are pleased to present this award in their memory.
