If you have a vehicle that you are thinking of trading in or selling, consider donating it to the Tailhook Educational Foundation Donate a Car Program.
When your vehicle is sold, the proceeds will go to the Tailhook Educational Foundation to help fund our scholarship program. You may also be able to deduct your vehicle as a charitable contribution for income tax purposes.
We have partnered with Car Program, which accepts most vehicles, including cars, trucks, trailers, boats and RVs. The donation is tax deductible and the process is easy. There’s free towing, and the vehicle does not need to run or pass current inspections.
If you have any questions, or would like to submit a donation by phone, please call Car Program toll-free, seven days a week at 1.800.240.0160.
Hook to School Program
As part of our ongoing educational program, we send over 1000 copies of the Hook to High schools and colleges throughout the United States. Most of these magazines go to NROTC and NJROTC units and they are paid for by your Tailhook Educational Foundation. We need you to expand the distribution of the Hook magazine to more high schools and colleges. Please click here or visit the Tailhook Association web site and click on the Hook to School Link. Support a high school or college in your area or leave it to the Tailhook Educational Foundation staff to assign your support to a school in a remote area.
The next Scholarship Season starts 15 December
Scholarship applications are due back in the Tailhook Educational Foundation Office by 15 March.
As we look to the coming New Year, we see a bright future for the Tailhook Educational Foundation. We continue to support the Hook to School Program, to expand our "Planned Giving Program," and to award more and larger scholarships. Your generosity convincingly demonstrates your firm support for the men and women now serving around the world. I sincerely hope we can count upon your support for Tailhook Educational Foundation programs next year beyond.
